AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM The After School Program runs each Wednesday between 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m and is open to all the children involved in the agency. The Big Brothers & Sisters house is the place to be! Within a supervised environment the children have the opportunity to complete homework, create arts and crafts, shoot pool, play Air Hockey, work on computers, watch movies and, of course, play with the Sony Playstation. This popular program was founded in January 2004 and was made possible through the kind support of the Durham Cruisers, who organized an annual Poker Run to raise funds specificlaly for this program. Thank you for such a great start!! Since June 2009 this program became funded by the Clarington Recreational Hockey League who donated funds from their events to support the After School Program. Truly without the support of these organizations this program could not continue!
